so you're on the button and you flop middle pair and you check to the big blind who bets out.......and then you get somebody to give you a serious response.

I was really confused by the response. I didn't quite see what was wrong with the topic/my response. However, I'm fast becoming the forum joke so i edited my post.

you check the flop and the big blind bets out on the turn. Get it together man this is serious business; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVFfgm-J50Q and my answer is it depends. what game are you even playing? Limit? No Limit? Ring Game? Tournament? More serious info would help you get more business here. blinds? Stacks? Your check on the flop could be moronic or smart. it was proably a bad move. but more info is needed to get help. must compute more info. some will bet the flop with nothing, in some games many bet to win, and some may bet the flop to see what the hell is going on.. so more info more business.

fwiw poker is a situational game.

and being a joke is good. ppl, will remember and like you. being smart sucks. ppl attack and hate smart ppl.

you also need an avatar. I suggest some kind of cute cat. cats are sooo win.

when playing middle pair, I rarely act out of turn.
What was, was and what will be, hasn't been.

So, your sitting on the button with A 10 and make a modest raise and the big blind is the only caller.
The flop comes 7 10 K. You check and the BB bets out half the pot. What do you do?
I just want some advice how to play middle pair.
Cheers.
Seb.

Bet on the floop.

Seriously...bet about 2/3.

As played easy fold.

WAIT, I just rereaed this. Are you SB or Button? Maybe you shouldn't hide the button under your seat.

Flops are kind of like vagina's. The wetter they are, the harder you hit them.

you have position, since your opponent check the flop, bet at it, if he calls and checks the turn again, check behind him for pot control, and call a bet on the river if a brick falls and value bet if he checks again...

but this all depends on your read of your opponent and the game you're playing ( full ring, mtt, sng, 6 max???)

have you read any book? if not, you might wink.gif
