PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00+$0.20 Tournament, 15/30 Blinds (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

CO (t1315)
Button (t2195)
Hero (SB) (t2955)
BB (t1340)
UTG (t2455)
MP (t3240)

Hero's M: 65.67

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 icon_suit_diamond.gif, 9 icon_suit_heart.gif
UTG bets t120, MP calls t120, 2 folds, Hero calls t105, 1 fold

Flop: (t390) 4 icon_suit_spade.gif, 3 icon_suit_heart.gif, 8 icon_suit_heart.gif (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets t150, MP calls t150, Hero raises to t625, UTG calls t475, MP calls t475

Turn: (t2265) Q icon_suit_spade.gif (3 players)
Um, wtf?

I dont even know what to say here. This is a safe card right? I mean it isn't perfect, but there could have been MUCH worse cards. Pot is 2265. I have about 2350 behind. I have UTG covered by about 200. MP has me covered by about 300. Do we shove this? Bet like 900 and fold to a shove, obv? What if they flat that...ugh.

No reads really on UTG. MP is beyond donk though. She had 4500 only because of 85 > 76 = 76 on K458 turn, and rivered the boat. She just doubled me up this excat same way. Had 99, raised. Flop came 843, I bet 270 she instamin-raised. I shove for 1300 and she snapcalled with K4 and missed.

what does me do?

Would QJhh really just flat on that flop?

Ugh, this spot sucks. I bet out the turn and fold to a shove. Its a really disgusting spot b/c if you check, he will fire ATC on the turn....yeah, but I would bet the turn

;ljfdsala Edit:

Didn't read well enough to see you have 2 callers. I would just shut down on the turn and try to get to showdown. Fold to almost any bet tbh.

If I'm check-raising this flop, I'm raising more than 625.

I probably take that line.

If they both flat, I'm likely to c/f the river. If one person flats, then I'm shoving any non heart, 8, A, K river.

You would be surprised at what players would flat with in a $1 + $0.20 tournament.

As for the hand, the hands that I could see calling is QJhh, AQhh, Q10hh, KQhh maybe even KK, AA, QQ, JJ, 10s, 4s, 3s, or 8s if they were really bad or any combo of Broadway cards with a Q. I'm check/folding on the turn as played. If there was one player then maybe, MAYBE I could merit a check/call on the turn and evaluate the river, but two is too many players for my taste.

I ended up shoving. I didn't want UTG to call at all, if he did the BCS would be like 65hh or so. Thankfully he folded. I was actually kinda hoping MP would call, though. If he had QhXh he probably puts in a raise on the flop. I figured there was a decent chance he would call with any draw, and any pair(hopefully not the Q obv) He folded too, but even after the hand I hated my shove. Seemed kinda spewy even considering how bad MP was.

we have 2210 left, and you guys want to bet 900 and then fold? i know we're not behind much if someone pushes, but you really want to put in 40% of what we have left and then fold. really?

either flat the flop or raise the flop more. UTG's getting about 3-1 so we can't rule out many hands and we are still oop with no idea where we are. a bigger raise puts pressure on overcards/draws. if utg flats our bigger raise we can be sure he has overpairs/AK/Qhh.

we played the hand to flop a set, and we didnt. yeah, we might have the best hand, but the only raise that doesnt commit us is a smallish one like we made that doesn't give us any more information. by just calling, we can see what UTG does on the turn. it will be hard for him to keep betting without a big pair. we give free cards this way, and dont charge draws, but if we're ahead its not by much and if were behind it's by a lot. no need to get too committed with just a weakish overpair.
Rise,

I like the whole hand. You should play drunk more often. :)
