How do you guys play A-x suited? I always limp in with it from late position, but other than that I am often unsure of what to do. Also is your answer the same in both NL and limit? Thanks,HBX

Good question.Like anything else, it's going to depend a lot on the game you're playing in.By Axs I assume you mean Ace-little suited and not AT-AK suited.I'll limp anywhere with it in a loose passive game. I'll fold it in EP and MP in an agressive game. I'll steal with it on the button in a shorthanded game. I'll complete a SB with it in any game. I'll call a single raise in the BB with it in any game. Postflop I'm looking for two pair or a solid flush draw or a pair and flush draw on the flop. I normally fold a pair of aces only to action on the flop depending on if conditions look favorable to draw to 2 pair.In NL I'll play it from any position in an unraised or min-raised pot. I'll lay it down to a 4BB raise if I limp with it pre-flop.I'll semi-bluff with nut flush draws about 1/2 the time in NL, betting the pot plus 1 BB.I'll check raise made flushes if I can to allow underflushes to get money in.

Hey, I don't have all the answers in life. To be honest, I've failed as much as I've succeeded, but I love my wife, I love my life, and I wish you my kind of success.
