Annie Duke Final Table On Celebrity Apprentice

Recommended Posts

Okay folks it's final table time Annie Duke vs Joan Rivers Celebrity Apprentice do not move till after airing of final show (table) next week pleaseYes I know there are Annie Duke haters out there but bite your tongues. She has raise the bar and level for Poker players out there on this show. She has taken poker playing to a whole different level. Plus the fact that Joan Rivers knocked the hell out of poker players calling us the scum of the earth etc. Annie may have faults but watching the entire show or seris , she has proven that poker players can play the game well. Gl Annie and tidshow Joan that poker players are decent people too. Open for discussioncopy of my post from Gen area, Annie deserves to win the final. she played to game the best of them all. Her energy level, her drive, her fight and that jingle. She worked hard. She is opinionated and strong will and get the tasks completed as they needed to be done. Her fund raising has been superior. I consider her a great spokes person for poker players in this show. Joan Rivers as much as I like her unfairly knocked poker players to the ground. What I have seen of Annie Duke on this show I like her style and work ethics. Jesse disappointed me, and could of bought more to the table. I love his blue collar background and admire his privacy to a point but this is a game to raise money for charity, I think there was fear of repercussion to open his private life up to public eyes, or he is hiding something about his private life. Melissia Rivers tilts me to upper level and should of been gone long ago. Clint Black just didn't like that he really didn't want to listen to others opinions, too much into himself. Nice guy but Narcissistic. Brandy I like her but did think she might of been a puppet of Annie but had potential to pull in the fund raisers. I was sorry to see Haersal Walker go earlier than I wanted him to go. Bottom Line Annie deserves the win. You go girl.

You have to give Annie credit though, she played the game brilliantly, exactly the way you should. Plus that old hag Joan called all poker players scum of the earth (or something...I forget exact quote). So F her. Go Annie.

The game requires backstabbing, underhanded dealings and being overly impressed with yourself.Yea, she should win

awesome
they both do come off pretty badly and many of Joan's comments were so far over the top that they defy explanationthat said, I can't bring myself to root for Annie; she is disingenuous and the way she treats other people (so called friends even) is despicableI can truly say that I would hate to be her friendJoan was downright nasty on many episodes, but I never saw her rip apart a supposed friend or do anything else of that natureAnnie did play the game brilliantly though and deserves kudos for that

So what does she "win" if/when she does? Is it a job with the Trumpster or does she just get to take some money and give it to charity? I don't watch the show at all so this may seem trivial to some ... but I am just wondering.

It's all for charity in the celebrity editions.

haha overly impressed with herself she is...but there wasn't a lot of backstabbing and underhandedness. She really just laid low and didn't get into it with people early, then she took over as PM on the tasks where it's all about raising money. She raised a ton of money in those challenges and scored a TON of cash for her charities. And then towards the end Joan just started going all crazy because she wanted to stay in the spotlight apparently.

Annie just did an awesome interview on Ellen it airs again at 4pm Pst. Joan called all poker players Trash and scum of the earth as far as I can see Annie raised the fore front and showed that poker players are not trash nor the scum of the earth. She played the game well and with decent respect. Go Annie for showing that some poker players do have class.

A medley of thoughts: 1. Joan Rivers' comment was stupid. That, in and of itself, does not change the fact that many would argue that Annie is not the exception to Joan's rule. Joan was out of line repeatedly and again, her comments were ridiculous, but I am not sure how that changes Annie's conduct.2. Saying she played the game with respect is just plain stupid. How many times do you get to call someone a dumb bitch before it is no longer respectful. 3. I don't see how Annie showed class. She was manipulative, rude, uncouth, and a bully. All traits that helped her in the game and show that she is a strong game player. None of those traits show that she has class.4. You are not a poker player. At least not in the sense that Joan was referencing.

Every week my wife says "Wow, I don't like that Annie Duke"...and my reply everytime is.."No one does".....I did attempt to count how many times she used the word "I" when she talked..I gave up at 27, which was 18 minutes into the 2 hour show.

The only situation I find myself helping Annie Duke is if her hair was on fire, and I really needed to take piss, I think I would help her.
