Cappy37 0
In the $1?I hate to sound uppity, but that's like my fav. tourney ever...And not only is your 46 good for the low about 95% of the time, you're good to scoop about 98% of the time.regardless: at 75/150 you'd want to raise with this PF and CB any flop that A2xx doesn't reasonably hit. Cappy37 0
I can't imagine ever folding that flop with your hand.. I like you slowing the turn... And the river finally conivinces me that you probably made a great laydown, mutternig obscenities under your breath. Still, it's shocking that even with that action, how often you are good for 1/2 on the river.. Just $#!tty that it only takes 2 cards to scoop you (thanks to the turn), so the river is usually a solid fold since you didn't improve.

Thats a pretty solid flop for your hand.
Chet Chetterson 0
Omaha is my weakest game but I wanted to get some more hands in to get better.I was cautious because the fourth ace is probably in one of those two hands, if they hit the boat on top of a decent low (which should have happened) then I am drawing pretty slim. Am I being too nitty here? The turn raise by the one villain means he has the boat or the 45, most likely the 45. Neither villain was betting wildly at the time.

Neither villain was betting wildly at the time. One of the golden rules is to slow down when it only takes 2 cards to scoop a pot both ways (and you don't have them). However the 2 on the turn completes a gutshot so 3-way it's a bit less likely.. It's very close because you're instincts are right: you're pwned by anyone with the case ace for the high, so you're 2nd best both ways hand is a bit weaker than it normally is in this situation. The heart on the river is extra annoying, because now you can actually put one villain on the flush and the other on the ace, and still potentially be good for the low.In this exact spot you played it safe (and most likely correctly), but just realize that in a lot of similar spots, esp. if no one else has 45 you are costing yourself a good tourney chance to gain chips by essentially being the "nut low" 3 way. This is 10x more likely if you don't have the ace and the two of them and getting into a pissing match. recognize spots like that and when you're against two naked lows w/ a lock high hand, and you can generate some great profits in seemingly mundane spots. So yeah, in short, you played it right. I just want to make sure you were on the page of always playing similar spots like that isn't the way to go

In hindsight I may have needed to get a raise in to try and knock out the high hand (didn't put him on 4 high at the time). However I doubt he would go away.

SwolyswoND 1
Fold PF - A466 is trash, even double suited, esp. in EP.As played, raise flop.I play turn the same, ugh, at the table I can never fold this river. Theoretically I think you played river right, though. At the table I usually call b/c f that guy.

drewlovesomaha 0
Honestly, what are you doing in a pot at this early stage of a tourney with a hand that makes way more second best hands than it does the nuts? People play Omaha hi-lo so poorly there will be many spots where you are scooping, even times when you are holding nut-nut. One, don't play such garbage and you won't find yourself in marginal spots. Two, the people advising you to call when you are probably good for half the pot- this is not how you play hi lo games - you play them to scoop. You should be playing hands where you can be the aggressor, with scoop potential, the nuts at least one way and a strong hand on the other side. The other posters on this topic sound to me like hold 'em players, which I love to see when I am playing omaha hi lo.
