Because I bet out to represent the ace of spades and get a better hand (like three eights or possibly even a straight) to fold.Laying down this hand at 7.5 to 1 would be incredibly weak/tight after leading this hand out all the way.Search this forum and 2+2 for "Clarkmeister" and "Clarkmeister's Theorem" for many more details.Result: Hero bets, MP3 folds.
