The Us Navy

There has to be a video of the pirates head sploding out there somewhere.
I agree with this, but it's probably really crappy. I have a friend that was a humvee gunner when we attacked Fallujah. He has like 50 hours of video that he refuses to show anyone. I can only imagine what's on it.

Raist (my 13 year old) is talking about joining the Navy when he graduates high school. It makes me a little scared, but I think it will be good for him. I just hope he doesn't get blowed up.

No one hardly ever dies in the military. You don't need to be more concerned than when he gets behind the wheel of a car after a high school party. Only like 5,000 soldiers have died in almost SIX YEARS of war. It's pretty staggering how impressive that is.Also: I've never heard the name Raist and I don't totally hate it. Even though it appears to be in the same category as Dayton, Dakota, Cameron or some other yuppie type name. (This was supposed to be a complement.)

A friend of mine had a video from a fire fight in Iraq. It was pretty heavily censored by the D.O.D. so about the best part was a clip of a guy manning a SAW and just unloading when this little tiny fly decided to cop a squat on his rear sight. For the really interesting video I had to wait and take a military science class taught by a marine. He had a clip of an insurgent sniper popping off rounds from one of those minarets until a minigun lit it up and pretty much turned him into paste.

Ask All-In. I'm sure that Al Jazeera has video of it that he'd be happy to post for ya.

My son's in the Navy, stationed in Hawaii. It's about the safest service there is. Almost always the Navy does the blowing up, not the other way around.
