Facing A Limp Min-raise Oop

Recommended Posts

Both players are new to me - do we like a shove here or do we raise less? How about flatting although we'll be OOP for the rest of the hand. This is rockets at micro level tables for sure. Will it at 100 NL? I guess this is call reevaluate, even though it feels like aces to me.
I think it's the min 4bet. That usually tells me Villain has no idea what he is doing and he range is huge. For some reason I want to make it 45 to go here.

i dont think Aces or Kings is limping behind 2 limpers. this is probably some mediumish pair or suited Ace thinking you're just trying to pick up some dead money.i'd raise to about 40-45ish.

I had no history on villain so I was thinking rockets was definitely in his range so I flatted. Who likes a donk lead here on the flop instead of my check? I would have taken a bit of time then re pop'd it pre flop. Maybe called in position but not out. Sure maybe aces are in his range but so is a ton of other rubbish. On the flop there is no way im letting him catch up on the turn for $5.

I kind of liked flatting PF. I think we can raise to like ... $30 and obv get it in. River a Q btw, just in case.

What's our line on the river - CRAI or donk river b/c villain might check behind and how much?

I play it the same preflop.I'd probably raise the flop but I don't hate how you played it either. Sometimes when I am really confused in a hand I like to just keep the pot small, and this guy is making it very easy for us to keep the pot small. On the river I'd just chunk it in there.

AA and KK have to be a small part of his range, as even bad players don't limp with those after 2 limpers already. you should be aware of them, but they probably make up a really small part of his range.his line looks a lot like 66-99 trying to get a cheap showdown, i think.i'd lead the river maybe 30-40. if he has AA or KK he probably puts you in anyway, and other hands might not call a shove but might call a smaller bet.

I bet $20 on the river; wanted it to look like a weak blocker bet and was hoping that if he'd spaz shove over me. I figured that if he had AA/KK, he'd shove in any case.Well he raises to $50, leaving like $10 behind so of course I put him all in and he turns over a pair of tens.

Good line and thought process RISE, I probably would've led for exactly $30. I like your line Gobears; villain was pretty polarized so going crazy at any point during this hand was probably no more +EV than your line; the point of NL is to minimize losses and max wins, right??
