This is my worst beat ever, and it happened in a freeroll tourny on pokerpages, so the fact that it was freeroll sort of soothed me, haha.Final table:10 people left, Im about equal 3rd in chips.i get dealt 8,9 spades, on the SB, i call the BB.Guy on the BB checks, he has about the same amount of chips as me, a little more.Flop comes 7s 10s jsSo for you out there who dont know what this is, flopped the straight flush to the jack.I check, BB bets. I smooth callTurn...dead card...3dI check again, he bets about half my stack. I raise all in...he callsHe turns over KsQs......a king high flushRiver.........As..........unbelievably giving him a royal flush.. and in turn knocking me out of the tourny in 10th placeAs is said, it was a freeroll tourny so i dont really care....but i thought you would like to hear this bad beat...very interesting

In my local cardroom, that would have triggered the very strict bad beat jackpot, a lot of money would have been spread around the table, and there would have been much rejoicing. But in a freeroll, you get nothing.

Seriously, that beat could have won you anywhere from 2000 - 300,000 depending on where you were playing.

Yeah with a bad beat jackpot, you would have been rooting hardcore for him to catch his A and beat you.......Party time. Wow.
