I would have to fold. He could've checked the flop looking for a check-raise with a set or even a king. The turn couldve given him a full house or trips, he could just call the bet on the turn with any of these. He springs his trap on the river with the 4.5x raise.I don't think he wouldve raised the river on a busted flush draw, I could be wrong.Pm me the results if you did call

He did call.I would have c/c the river. Give him the chance to bluff at it while minimizing your loss if your actually beat.

One way to think of this, is that you hardly ever have a king here (I assume you lead the flop with a king), so if you're folding QT to a raise in this spot he can pretty much raise the river with ATC because you never call unless you have something weird like 33.I call.

I'd usually lead the flop as you can get value from flush draws, QJ and worse Tx hands. I'd call river. Villain should show up with missed clubs, spades or QJ often enough for us to turn a profit. Especially given description.

I second this.

This. Listen to this man :club: In my opinion his raise his only ever a hand that beats you. Check to him. This way, even if he value bets, it wont be anywhere nearas high as $7. When you bet the river, what hands that you beat can call you?Not much, if any, tbh.
