In AC where I play they spread a $6-$12 LH game and a $10-$20 LH game. The 6-12 game is raked, 10% of the pot to a max of $4. The 10-20 game is time charge, $5 per half hour. The 6-12 game tends to be much looser, and certainly more fishy than the 10 game. I've beat both games when I've played them, but don't have enough data to work out a reliable BB/hr. ratio to base this on. If I can make over 1BB per hour in the 6-12 due to looser weaker play will this game become more profitable with the savings in time charge?

If your 1BB/hr is after rake, stay there.$12/hr is better than $10/hr ($20 for 1BB/hr at 10/20 - $10 time charge).

When I started thinking about this, I came to that conclusion. But now that I'm thinking about it more, shouldn't a 1BB per hour win rate include covering your time charge as well. Ehh..I just confused the heck out of myself. Maybe I'll stick to the $10 -$20 half kill O8 and stud8 game next time I'm down there, or just pump it up to the 20-40 LH game so I don't confuse myself.
