I have about 15,000. Blinds are 100/200.I look down at 99 and raise to 600 and get called by Player He has about 30,000.Flop comes 58JPlayer checks, I check (thinking he might want a check raise)Turn comes 58J(9)Player checks, I bet 4,000. Player raises me all in.Since i have made a set of 9's, I call. Player turns over JJ. A blank card comes on the river and he wins the pot.Do I suspect that he has jacks in the hole? Did I make a bad call when i went all-in or is just a bad beat i have to suck up and take. Thanks for the help guys

Welcome to the forum :)You seriously overbet the pot on the turn. Even with a set, this bet is too big, beyond that, it's not a bad beat, just unlucky.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

bet 3/4 of the pot on the flop, calm down and bet 1/2-3/4 of the pot on the turn, if he had smoothcalled the flop bet.
