Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is SB with [4s], [4d]. UTG raises.Flop: (7 SB) [3c], [Th], [8c] (3 players)Hero checks, UTG bets, UTG calls, Button calls.Turn: (6.50 BB) [8h] (3 players)Hero bets, UTG calls, Button folds.River: (8.50 BB) [2c] (2 players)Hero bets, UTG calls.Final Pot: 10.50 BBaight, lets get some discussion here. The PFR had been aggressive, but not out of line. Button was a tard of tards, but he respected my play, so I kinda wanted himout of hte pot incase he was trying for some kind of draw. What do y'all tinkof dis hand here

i saw him at the riverbank. he was breaking bread and giving thanks. with crosses made of pipes and planks. leaned up against the nitrous tanks.
he said take a hit. hold your breath and i'll dunk your head. then when you wake up, you'll be high as hell and born again.

Fillmaff comes to mind. He check-raised me on the flop with an underpair? An underpair?Lol. Can't wait to see what UTG had...AK? AQ? something like that. How did you put him on nothing exactly?NH
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

I'm not so sure PFR would've raised right there on the flop to try to push the button out

its not really a read.it was a non scary flop and the bettor was the PFR.its a standard raise in a short handed pot.

The PFR had been aggressive, "but not out of line".That and the amount of ppl. But it is primarily that utg raise that concerns me.I think it is a losing situation for the hand generally. Imho

Nah, I think you can call a single raise from the sb with any pair.

With button's call, it's pretty close. Considering UTG appears to be a solid player, it's a very marginal call from the SB. Of course, I'm trying to keep my VP$IP below 20%...so I'm a bit biased.

At first I didn't like the preflop call from out of position, but actually I think it's ok.Getting almost 4-1 on the call (or more if the BB calls), and then you're 7-1 to hit the set, with decent implied odds if you do. Plus you might be able to get value on garbage flops (like the one here), if UTG doesn't have a big pair.
Then you go to da box for 2 minutes by yourself, you feel shame... then you get free.
