i saw him at the riverbank. he was breaking bread and giving thanks. with crosses made of pipes and planks. leaned up against the nitrous tanks.
he said take a hit. hold your breath and i'll dunk your head. then when you wake up, you'll be high as hell and born again.

i like the call-C/R rag turn line, but i can understand the three-bet.it just gets more value, but you rape yourself if he three-bets you on the turn.not sure, good question.by the way, that's not the scariest, flop, 7

He'd probably raise with a bare K 3-bet this monkey
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Yeah, 3-bet it. He may figure you for a continuation bet and be looking to seize initiative and/or take it down right there. Show him you're not ready to give it up just yet. Obviously, if he caps, proceed with caution.

here are my thoughts.the board is scary right now, sure, but there aren't too many cards that can roll off on either street that make the board much scarier.an A puts four-straight on the board, but it gives you a strong boat redraw.a K gives you the straight, so nothing to worry about.a Q/J/T pairs the board, but that might be good against a two-pair (counterfeits them, for example).a 9/8 put a four-straight on the board, giving you no real redraw except a gutshot (K), so those two cards are bad.a 7- is safe.since it's now heads-up, i wouldn't worry that a 9 or 8 (one of them) will necessarily help villian. SO, only 4 outs at most worry you.that said, i wouldn't checkraise the turn since the flop raise could easily be a free card play.so, to protect against the free card play, three-bet the flop, i think.you could just call the flop raise and lead out on the turn, but then you don't really know what to do if you get raised--do you three-bet or call? also, you could be losing value this way; you lead the turn and he calls instead of raising, or you lead the turn, he raised, you call, and he checks behind on the river.so now that i think more about it, i think a three-bet is correct.aseem

got five callers behind me, and the blinds... the flop came down 7 8 10 of diamonds.. the small blind bet out, the big blind called, and I mucked, as I had two black aces. It's the only time I've just straight mucked aced to a single bet before, but I figured that If Iwasn't already behind, there were all kinds of draws out there, and I just didn't want to go to war with five people to act behind me. If I'd have had an ace of diamonds, of course I would have gone to war, but Ifelt the chance I was behind already, plus the chance that they'd hit what ever draws they had, made me flee for the hills.. another diamond came on the turn, and A4 off suit with the ace of diamonds won the pot.

i think you can 3 bet this flop pretty safely. the raiser could very well have KJ and be betting his draw strongly. beings you have 2 of his outs and a gutshot str8 draw of your own i think you are safe to 3 bet.
