yeah, this is an ugggggglllly spot for sure. If someone bets the flop you never run in to any of this, but after the turn not so sure. I guess you should have just folded to the first $8 bet then after BB calls the first raise I guess you just went ahead and pushed him in figuring your hand was good against his range? To me it looks like BB is on a made lo or possibly a made str8 on the high end I suppose, but def looks like he's stuck on a one way type of hand to me. Did you end up getting half the side pot and screwed on the main? (tis my guess anyway)edit: a red ace on the river sure would have been nice

a -EV situation is still a -EV situation regardless of if it is deep stacked or not. The majority of the time here someone is free rolling against you.

how do we like bet/fold flop, taking off a free card UI if we get called?
you know what, if this was .50/1 and not 1/2 i probably would have done that

this size of the pot and the money left changes the ev of a situation. would you ever fold for $1 in a $1000 pot?

I've done it in tournaments. And been correct. I've even crawled into min-cashes afterwards. :club: But that's more like my last 300 chips in a 15k pot.. so that's still only 50-1.
