Coach is already on my nerves.
I like Sandy's attitude somewhat, but she's an idot.

GOOD FIRST EP, I LIKE MAH FELLOW HILLBILLY J.T.

LIKE SIERRA

If Sandy is going to make it any further in this game she needs to partner up with someone, try and make an alliance, and let them help her find the hidden immunity idol. I mean who the heck doesnt know what a Pace is?

"Sandy, are you a little crazy?" *Big Bug Eyes* "Oh yeah, a lot crazy" Classic.

What a strange episode [spoilers below]

Initial thoughts

I didn't like the twist. I thought it made people look bad, voting on first impressions is pretty rough, I believe "Granny" was the first vote .. LOL.

Sandy: She's crazy and not the smartest player for someone her age. She doesn't know what a pace is, what a palm tree looks like or that Jalapao is different than a Jalapeno. However, I'm happy she proved herself at the challenge. She did work hard and did everything she could on the stairs. I'm also happy that Jeff didn't say "If you have the hidden immunity idol now is the time to play it." This would've outed her, so good for the survivor crew. Even though she looked pretty good at walking up some stairs at the challenge, she's just too crazy to last longer than a few weeks.

JT: Just like I thought, he's one of the strongest players in the game. Not just physically but he seems like he'll easily adapt to the survivor lifestyle. After day 1, I would pin him as the man to beat.

Benjamin (Coach): Not nearly as cool as I had hoped. He's strange and all, but he comes off a bit harsh. This will bite him in the ass just like it did to Carolina.

Carolina: She was hot! I really hoped she'd be around. If I've learned anything watching survivor, you never boss someone around at the early stages. Never has that strategy worked so why even bother trying. gg OttawaBitch/Serge

Sydney: This is my pick in the pool. Didn't get much info on her, I thought she sucked at the puzzle and could've been one of the weak ones to pick off. I'm glad Carolina opened her mouth, which buys some time for her to build an alliance.

Sierra: She's probably my favourite girl there. I like her personality and she did a very smart thing of voiding the idol search. As long as benjamin doesn't push her around I think she'll be able to build an alliance before having to worry about getting voted off. How far she'll go, I have no idea but I think she's definitely middle of the pack and not last anymore.

So far we haven't seen much of camp life. I'm anxious to see what kind of shelter they built and how well it'll last against the first rainfall. I was disappointed that the losing tribe got flint after tribal council. This is survivor, you got to win a challenge to get rewarded that.

I didnt mind that Sandy decided to look for the idol instead of building camp. One problem...she never even went to go look for the idol!! WTF?!?!
I mean, seriously, if she didn't even go look for the idol then what did she do the whole time at camp?

Yes she did, they showed her at the wrong beach digging at some random stick. I mean imagine you are dropped in the middle of nowhere and are told "go dig at the stick on the biggest beach." You have no idea how many beaches there are, how far they might be from camp, what direction it's in.

So if you pick a direction and start walking and come up on a beach with sticks, how do you have any clue if your at the right place? It might have taken her well over an hour just to find the wrong beach. You just have to assume you are at the right place and start digging. She only had a few hours...

No, she went looking the next day AFTER the tribe got there.

It's still stupid to not start building the shelter, because you HAVE the clue. You can search for it the next day or the day after, or anytime you want provided you aren't booted in the first few days.

Did they really have to vote out the best boobage first? really? I already miss Sugar.

Everyone knew Sandy was safe from the amount of air time she received. She's bat shit crazy but she'll be around for a few more weeks.

Gallo, Yoda's exactly right about searching for the immunity idol when she first got there. You're right about her being too dumb to know what a pace is and finding the beach with the stick the second day.

I guess I missed that part because I remember seeing her looking for the idol on the beach and finding the clue the next day.
