HighwayStar 8
Like most of the people on this forum, I keep a reasonable eye on the poker ups and downs of Daniel. I am not as 'in tune' with Daniel's online playing record as some people, but as far as I know, Daniel has not dropped a few million dollars online, and only that sort of loss could be considered serious, from a business point of view. I know a lot of business guys that have gone through some rough patches (I have ) and generally speaking you do not become a worse person because of it; you get stronger. :angry:So the whole tone of the article is 'poker envy'.So this article is just a cheap piece of character assasination
NoSup4U 0
From the article:The same can be said for Barry Greenstein, who is also pretty bust. Not as bust as some of the forum members who are talking about cashing out and starting over, but still. I mean, enough said right? LOL dumb articles.Mark

Oziumrules 0
he won 800kHe said on Pokerroad he lost $800K on Arizona +3 for the 1st half, Harrisons interception killed him. He won a little back on Arizona +7.

Thats my point ! He is not hurting...BTW...He would have had to wager 1.6M on Arizona +7 to win 800K total due to his 1st half loss. He mostly likely had 800K on both bets and broke even and lost some juice.

Honestly, this article is so absurd on a number of levels. It's really not even worth discussing....Completely absurd. But it's 3 months+ until the WSOP, gotta have something to chatter about in the meantime.

PokerFan 0
Since this article is not a English assignment I don't care how well it was written. The premise is that DN has been in better financial shape then he currently is in as is Todd Brunson, Barry Greenstein and countless others..One of the many threads on this forum ask how much money these guys have and 9/10 suggested that guys like DN, Doyle and Hellmuth have 40-50 million or more...This line of thinking is just crazy and I said that in those threads..(I refuse to use the search function..lol)..The bottom line is not many people are better off right now that in recent past. Lastly, DN will be fine as long as he does not bet on that golf swing of his....
