FYI:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28/inter...ratings-404641/

Cliff notes: FTP banned someone for a day for using Tableratings.com while they were playing. (thus they are clearly monitoring your web use while you play just fyi)

I didn't know Tableratings was against the t&c. Is this true for Stars as well?

I don't believe so, but I'm not positive. Stars has a big list I think of sites that aren't allowed and I don't think TR is on it. Tilt is stupid and just has some vague guidelines. The only reason we all figured out for sure tableratings was not allowed is because we emailed them repeatedly until they finally gave us an absolute answer no.

I don't like that it is against their T&C, but I do like how FTP they handled it with basically a warning.

Next thing you know, they will ban someone for railing a friend at one table while simultaneously playing at another table... claiming "data-mining".

I'm not a fan of PAS (Personal Assistant Software).

As long as my favorite porn sites are not against TOS, then I am okay.

Don't really like the idea of them seeing everything that's going on on your computer...usernames and everything else I assume? Would hate for my info to get into the wrong hands...

Would you prefer that they allowed collusion or gave their customers carte blanche to exploit you in any means necessary?

My suggestion, don't do anything that requires passwords or usernames while Tilt or any other poker related software is running.

I've never used tableratings, but I don't see what all the commotion is about. I mean the allow PT and HEM and other programs. Someone over at 2+2 said, something along the lines of "Good, you shouldn't be cheating." I mean, what's the difference between PT and HEM. I just don't get it.

It is the equivalent of Sharkscope for SNG's or OPR for tournaments, but it is for cash.
