Hp Laptop

Recommended Posts

ok, so i have an hp laptop that is a total piece of crap. my kid stepped on it twice, cracked the screen and broke both hinges on the screen. a couple of months ago the thing totally crashed. i didnt have any disks for it but while i was messin with it when it booted up i was just hitten keys and it let me what appeared start the pc from when i bought it. i lost everything that i put on it but had all the original software that it came with. at this point i just started using it for poker only. of course i had to buy the wife a new one but alteast i had mine for poker. well today i got a new router so that i could get a better signal with it. got it all setup and it worked great. so later on i closed the laptop without shutting it off like i always have done. when i opened it again it would no longer work. im not sure how to explain this but ill do my best.when u open up to view the networks , the wireless one is gone. u cant even search for a wireless network. i called netgear and they said its a pc issue. how does it just go away. anyways does anyone know how to fix this or does anyone know how i can start over again. what keys do i press when its booting up. ty inadvance for your helptom

So what exactly is the problem? The laptop doesn't boot properly or you can't find your wireless connection from the laptop anymore?
cant find the wireless connection. on your task bar there was always a little monitior symbol that you could click on to see wireless networks in range. now that is gone and theres no way to view wireless networks. i even did a pc recovery and its still gone. theres a wireless assistant that when u try and open it, it wont open.
