GeneralGeeWhiz 0
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Ahwk...p&type=lgnsRod Woodson and Bruce Smith are obv first ballot picks, and I'm glad to see that Derrick Thomas made it in. I do think Tagliabue deserves to be in there also. discuss.

WKTSWAY 0
Cris Carter got screwed imo. </obv Buckeye and Vikings fan bias>He did though...leading WR out of anyone eligible right now. He will now get screwed again next year since it's Rice's first year of eligibility.
Oziumrules 0
Le Beau deserved induction also. Was glad to see Woodson and Smith get in though.
CaneBrain 97
Cris Carter got screwed imo. </obv Buckeye and Vikings fan bias>no bias. He got screwed period. I think there is some sort of concerted effort by all the Sports Hall of Fames to be as stupid and douche-like as possible.Cris Carter is a no-brainer. No discussion. 2nd all time in receptions. 4th all time in TD catches. Thats the end of the debate. (not to mention he was probably the best sideline/endzone receiver ever). His not being inducted the 1st year was a joke. Now, it is evidence that the football HOF voters have no clue what they are doing.Sidenote: Any baseball HOF voter who did not vote for Rickey Henderson should lose their vote. WKTSWAY 0
Also Shannon Sharpe...how did he not get in? All time leader in everything for TEs (except Tony Gonzo now). There are I think 6 TEs in the HOF and none of them are better than Sharpe was.

I would shocked that he didn't get in his first year of eligibility, considering he was the best ever until Tony broke all this records this season. He did make the final 10 though, so I assume he will get in next year, though I thought he was a shoo in this year so who knows.

It's gonna be a sick sick sick sick sick class.

It's gonna be a sick sick sick sick sick class.I saw Rice is going to make it via this thread, but I haven't look it up beyond that. Obviously Jerry is locked in for one spot out of the 5, as he is the best WR to play the game ever without question.

There are I think 6 TEs in the HOF and none of them are better than Sharpe was.Kellen Winslow was amazing, and I wouldn't say Sharpe was clearly better. In fact, I would take Winslow over Sharpe if I was starting an imaginary team.I'd like to know where those 2 other 'outstanding' seasons are. As far as injuries, every player has injuries, Warner is no exception. Warner needs at least two more good years to make it. hahah. I hope he retires this off season so I can bet my life savings on this with you.

El Guapo 10
Sidenote: Any baseball HOF voter who did not vote for Rickey Henderson should lose their vote.FWIW he got a larger % of votes than Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb. There has never been a unanimous HOFer in baseball.
