My Cousin I thought you guys would enjoy it. I some times wish I could have punched some of my professors at Eugene like this guy did, I can completely relate.

GOD Is Busy

If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!!

A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, GOD if you are real then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 min.' The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, 'Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting.'

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.

The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, 'What in the world is the matter with you? 'Why did you do that?'

The Marine calmly replied, 'GOD was too busy today protecting America 's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and act like an idiot. So He sent me.'

The classroom erupted in cheers!

The moral of the story is if people don't have the same beliefs as you they are "stupid and acting like idiots" so punch them in the face. Solid christian message.

That is correct.

I also would have accepted, "just because people don't have the same beliefs as you does not mean you need to openly mock them with idiotic challenges."

Funny, if some proffessor called on muhammed to do the same with a couple of muslims in his class,

he woulda been forced tp publicly appologize and attend sensitivity training.

No shit. It's a pathetic excuse for a pscho christian fairy tale. The saddest part is that I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who actually believe it. I don't understand people.

You...think that the Marine in the story was supposed to be a muslim? I...what?

Dude, the "Hussein" thing isn't funny or controversial...it just makes you look kind of like an idiot. Just saying, in case the Ann Coulters of the world have made you think otherwise.

Nooo... nothing to do with the Marine... what you said.

Hussein is his name.... Why does that make me look like an idiot to refer to a guy by his name?

fwiw it makes you look even worse to pretend you don't know why.

but back to this story, I think it is deep commentary on the psychological impact of war. i mean, how can we train these guys to shoot at everything that moves and then expect them to sit peacefully in a classroom and listen to beliefs that differ from their own?

All the Bush haters referred to him as "W" but if you call Obama "Hussein".... you're an idiot.

That's funny.

fwiw.... you obviously never served.

To imply that soldiers are nothing more than trained killers and can not distinguish between facing an enemy in war and behaving properly in public settings makes you look pretty bad, sir.
