Solar 0
Its pretty much only KT that we are worried about. His stats would indicate that AA/QQ/JJ/AQ are probably not in his range here? He could potentially have Ax cc, QJ, AJ or even AT. Pretty sure you're ahead most of the time here.Bleh, misread this hand slightly. AQ/JJ could be there I guess

AimHigher 0
Why did we get involved on the flop? What changed since then?Because I thought I could get value from Ax and Pair+Draw hands but I don't expect him to take this line with those hands. Maybe that thinking is flawed? trystero 0
I don't think we can rule out AQ/JJ/QQ. I can see a guy who's like 42/14 not want to 3-bet JJ/QQ in front of a 6x pf raise. At these stakes it happens all the time. This looks a lot like a AQ/JJ/KT, - it is a pretty strong line, bet, 3/bet, shove. Since he's pretty donkish, though, I can't fault you for calling the turn shove. I mean he can show up with QJ too. The question is, he's donkish in what way? Is he donkish in a plays too many hands can't fold to save his goddamn life sorta way? Or is he donkish in, I have a big pair, ALL IN. Over 74 hands you should have some idea of how he plays his hands.Overall you cannot fold because you have two pair, and if there's something I learned from forums like 2+2, it's that you can never fold two pair online because doing so is weak-tight. mtdesmoines 2
Because I thought I could get value from Ax and Pair+Draw hands but I don't expect him to take this line with those hands. Maybe that thinking is flawed?Yeah, I see what you're saying, but the point is we kind of decided we were married to this hand when we gave (got?) all that flop action. I think the turn has to be an autocall and I don't really like it.

NoBBiR 0
We're still ahead of most draws, and if we thought we were ahead enough on the flop to call the reraise, then we still gotta put it in on the turn. The only hand that improved is T9cc, so we basically just have to believe that we're ahead here more than one out of out 1.9ish times, which I personally think is closeeeeeee.Given that it is 10nl and people can show up with any garbage, I'm shipping it. Like I said, this is a call because of the way we played the flop, which I don't think is bad, but this is a marginal marginal spot to be sure. I wouldn't be shocked to see QJ, the nuts, a draw, A-garbage .... whatever show up here.
AimHigher 0
So, I called the turn shove and he showed AQ. River was a brick. Ignoring the results, how do you guys feel about putting in a slightly larger raise on the flop? Maybe $3?

It's just another example of how AJ plays multi-way in a raised pot.

Ignoring the results, how do you guys feel about putting in a slightly larger raise on the flop? Maybe $3?Spew, unless we're a superuser and know that he has QJ or A10/AKcc. I think his reasonable range has more hands a lot more hands that you're behind than you're ahead, and when you're ahead, you're not way ahead, so I don't think there's a ton of value in getting more money in.
