antistuff 0
im mostly wondering about his call on the flop. is it as bad as it seems? how much equity do you think he has on that flop against me on average. i am going to 3 bet against him huge he is a preflop maniac, like any hand that has a suited ace and a third card that connects somehow or better (a2qx ish). i do not know if he knows i will do it with more than AAw which is most people's 3 betting range. for the sake of discusion lets pretend he does and that he is a good laggy player who knows me. if he calls the flop and bets the turn without looking he gets good odds. im not sure but i think i might fold enough. kingcon31 0
If this were limit O8 I think he would be ok, but in pot limit I think his call is pretty bad. Maybe he can play really well post flop and push you off a lot of pots, but I feel like calling with the the 2nd nut low draw and basically a gutshot and overs for the high is a recipe for disaster. rvrchsrhtr 0
No, he didn't play it as badly as you think. HE PLAYED IT WORSE .....IMO Even knowing how LAG you can be at times his play is horrible. I think you prob were pissing this guy off with your "typical" style of play and he just went in to push tilt mode. I actually wouldn't mind his play if he check raises u full pot on the flop, but smooth calling then shoving on the turn with his hand giving you 3:1 pot odds with the hand he holds can not be a good play. Maybe he thought you would prob shove in that spot so he decided to beat you to it. Who the hell knows sure looks like a spot where when he shoves he's saying "I hope I at least get half"................hehaw
jmbreslin 0
Maybe he just didn't notice how little you had behind, so he figured he'd float the flop and then when he picked up the NFD on the turn and completed his low he put the pedal down.Suppose your stack was much deeper. What would you think of his play then?
rvrchsrhtr 0
If his stack was deeper I wouldn't mind it near as much. It would look like a steal attempt with outs and "possibly" having the lo half locked up. shrug
