Ummmm yeah well it's -20 degrees outside with windchill of about -35 to -40...Hard to breath when going to your car and then car might not start. I can't wait to move to Phoenix, Arizona so I will never experience freezing temperatures ever again!!!

Never? It occasionally occurs, but yeah you would no doubt love the climate change. The temps where you are make my 11 degrees with almost 0 degree wind chill seem somewhat toasty.

I've been thinking about this lately because it's supposed to warm up to the upper 20s degrees by Sunday. So say that you are somewhere where it is 32, there is ice on the sidewalk, and you can see your breath. Over the course of about 36 hours, it warms up to 85 degrees. Big change? That's what we're going to experience. Except we're still going to be below freezing.

That was my first thought.

The cold wave is over here, it's 20 degrees! Whoo hoo.... hope my kitchen pipes unfreeze today.

Just suffered through a 24 hr power failure because a grid station got flooded and knocked out power to about 10000 homes in Toronto area. Fckn horrid. Was down to freezing inside the house and I was concerned about my cats and a dog we're babysitting, but we got power back last might at 10PM but it's been very slow to heat up as it remains extremely cold outside.

So, yeah, that's my way of saying warmer temps and a better climate would rock.

No generator but this makes a good case to get one...
