ok, 3 limpers, button or CO raises. he isn't particularly loose, so i assume his raise to be legitimate, which only means a decent ace or pockets 9s and higher.should i call this raise with 77? pretty much i need to hit a 7, but if it comes out low or scary, i might be able to take the pot - i'd probably have to have the best hand or else no one would fold, but the table wasn't really strong, so there is a chance that if the raiser misses i wouldn't be folding the better hand.thoughts?thanks, daniel

I think you can pretty much call a single raise out of the sb with any pair
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

thanks - i always hate calling those low pairs since of course you'll lose your money 5-6 out of 7 times or so when you don't flop a set or something nice, but i think you guys are right, given the implied odds of those situations.i actually laid this down, only to see a flop of 5-6-8, which made me realize it was probably a mistake. then later got an AK busted by a guy calling 88 in the SB to two raises in a $90 pot. can't go by results i know i know i need a tattoo or something.cheers, daniel
