Jeepster80125 0
Talk About A Bad Beat!!!!!Discuss.*L*T*I'm thinking his 'bad beat' is letting that whore have his money. He'd rather rot in jail.I think it's admirable, choosing jail over the whore getting money.
hblask 1
It seems that if his version of the story is true, it would be relatively easy to prove -- there'd be some documentation, or he could write to the company and ask them for proof. So it appears he hid the money and is being stubborn. That said, the point that he could've killed his wife and been out by now is probably true. At this point, I think the burden of proof is on the court system to prove he hid it, rather than on him to come up with money nobody can find proof of.
Randy Reed 0
I'm thinking his 'bad beat' is letting that whore have his money. He'd rather rot in jail.I think it's admirable, choosing jail over the whore getting money.Yeah I agree but it's ridiculous he's 72, they have held him all this time without a trial, and a forensic expert couldn't findany money in the first place. They have no evidence he actually hid the money. If he had attempted to murder her he would have been out years ago. It's pretty ridiculous and I can't believe a lawyerhasn't gotten him out already. I also agree she was a money grubbing whore who was decades younger than him and only stayed since she thought he would die of cancer. And furthermore, what the fuck did she need more than 6 pieces of toilet paper for anyway?
outsider13 0
Right or wrong or whether he did it or not, how the fuck can they keep him in there for that long on a contempt charge. Seems kind of retarded to me.

Just put the documentation in front of the Judge and you would be free. If the judge doesnt see that then of course he is going to assume that the money is being hid. Also, if there is no documentation then the guy is more of an idiot for transferring 2.5 million dollars and not getting a receipt. Even at Taco Bell I get my receipt!! BigDMcGee 3,367
here was my favorite part.. Applegate said she had doubts about the relationship but decided to stick with Chadwick when he told her he had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma."He said he had seven years to live," she said. "And I said, 'OK, I can't walk out on this guy.' "So, when she found out he was going to die she was like " yeah, I can put up with this a-hole for a couple years to get paid. hell yes. What a fcking whore. And keeping someone in jail for contempt of court for 15 years should not be legal.

WageSlave 0
Seems to me he's got the perfect situation for a writ of habeas corpus. Of course, if it doesn't he's probably screwed.
Asimo 1
I think if he had access to the funds he would have paid it by now. If he was smart enough to build a savings of $2.5 Mil then he could do it again. There would be no reason for him to just rot in jail.
