The donkbet is either a weaker hand testing you or a stronger hand hoping you'll play back at him. When he 3-bets you have to assume the latter. What are you ahead of there? AT? Meanwhile you're behind AQ, AK, A4, A6, 44, 66.And your raise to $6.50 is way too small - gotta raise big enough to take down the pot right there. Link to post Share on other sites

TraptSteve 0 Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 What about calling the Flop Donk , Bet/Raise Turn?I think we find out more about the villain's hand on the turn Vs the flop w/ a raise. Lets us get value from a draw on the turn if he's willing to call, and we can confidently fold if he comes over the top. Link to post Share on other sites
