How much do you rely on those stats while playing? Both Friday and Saturday night, I had TA's on both tables I was playing, but only had 150 or so hands on each. After a few hundred more hands, one of them was bouncing between TAA and TA and the other settled in around SLAA. I respected a raise from them more than other players, even on such a low number of hands from them. How do you interpret your stats while playing when you don't have a large number of hands on a player?

It all depends... if over 35 hands they have a VP$IP of like 75-80% you can usually assume they arent running THAT good... But I prefer to have alot of hands... datamining is the way to go, just set it up before you start, or when you go to bed, or arent playing. Its a great way to get alot of hands on the regulars at your limit

Isn't it just running the program with watching tables? What's the problem?/not familiar with PT yet, plays on sites that don't have compatibility
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

With PT and Gametime+ you can view real-time stats on the players at the table. Gametime+ overlays the player's stats on the table.

I don't think you an datamine on Stars unfortunately. I'm pretty sure you can only get hand histories on hands you're actively dealt into. :(Anyway, I'm trying to adjust to GameTime+'s overlay, this being my first day using it. Oh yeah, RCB, what auto-rate rules do you use in PT?

i just went w/ the default rules as I don't know enough to create my own. The person(s) who wrote the Pokertracker tips on bet-the-pot has his rules that he made available, but they're for NL.

I'm having trouble datamining for pp too. I opened up a 30/60 table, just too see how much better they played (lol). I noticed that pokertracker was picking up the hands, but I couldn't find the hand histories or the player stats anywhere. I went into gt+ and couldn't find any of those players in the drop down menu to overlay their stats. What am I doing wrong?

Just noticed this...try looking in your main PP directory...for some reason I guess it saves observed hand histories there as opposed to your hand history folder.
