Does anyone know how often and how much the satillites are for Friday's $500 NL tourney -- will they have some on Thursday? Is it only $50?...I've tried calling the poker room at Harrahs AC, but always get the answering machine.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just tried calling too, and got their answering machine. I was wondering if anyone knew any info about the $500 tournament, like how long the levels are, what are the blinds, how much do you start with, what percentage of places gets paid, when time do you have to register by?? I was gonna ask Harrahs these questions but I guess they are too busy to answer anyones phone calls. If anyones got any answers, it would be much appreciated!!

Probably paying about the top 10% or so of the field, but I read somewhere that some adjustments were made, so who knows. Please post here if you find the information.I was supposed to play in Friday and Saturday's tournies, but unfortunately I have a family event to attend to that will prevent me from playing.

If you guys can get any hard info, please let me know. I'm out here in San Diego and there's going to be a stop on the circuit in Feb. I might play in the 500 one if I can afford it.

i sent an email to the head of media relations for Harrahs trying to find out if they're going to be issuing press passes for the tournament for my website. I'm not sure how it works, I figured if I had a press pass then I can maybe take pictures and video, including hopefully player interviews. I've never been to a big tournament, so I don't know how it works, I'm just guessing. Am I being really naive (ie. they don't issue press passes, or I have no chance to get them)?
