I Need A New Cell Phone, What Should I Get?

Recommended Posts

I prefer to stay with Telus, thinking about the blackberry pearl. A couple of my friends have it and it seems pretty good. Will cost me $180 to cancel out of my contract if I want to get an Iphone or something. In canada, for the iphone, I have to go with Rogers.

Get the older Iphone and just unlock it (if your network is gsm)... That's what I did for T-Mobile.If you can still get an older one at least. Otherwise Blackberry is probably a good option.

TELUS doesn't use GSM. They currently use CDMA and are in the process of upgrading to HSPA.

I work for your current wireless provider. :club: In an effort to retain business I would second this recommendation.
Wow that thing makes me hard.
I ended up getting a blackberry curve today. Seems like a nice phone.
Great phones. I think I just fell in love with the Bold, but I have 2 curves (one personal one work) and they are fantastic.Just a warning. Do not, under any circumstances, start to play the game on there called BrickBreaker. It will absolutely consume your life and leave you a wasted shell of what you once were. Trust me.

Worst advice ever. Best way to not have to do anything else for long periods of time.Boss: "Why aren't you doing your work?"You: "Can't you see I'm playing BrickBreaker on my new Blackberry?"Boss: "Oh, shit. My bad. Sorry to bother you, as a matter of fact, how about a raise and more time off, to focus on honing your BrickBreaker skills?"

I play Brickbreaker probably a total of 2 hours a day total while at work, and that's only because I cut down because I've been busier. The only good thing about it is that it looks like you're doing something. Like sending a really intense email. a REALLY intense email. The screaming of obscenities when you lose, however, is tough to explain.
