Pezeveng is a fellow Armenian dude, who is an avid sports bettor. There are some interesting stories he has compiled over the years .

Hopefully he will share some with us.

I will start it off.

Here I'll share a losing experience the first and only time I decided to be the bookie. It was 8 years ago in the year 2000 my little bro comes home from work and tells me he needs me to call the bookie to up our game limit I use to bet $25-50 a game $100 tops. We were looking at betting way more for the Vikings Lions game because all his buddies want to bet the Lions. I can't remember the total amount but it was significant. So we start talking big mistake and decide we'll take the bet.

Viking were 9 point favs over Detroit. This was the most money I've ever had on a game up to that point in my life. The game starts off with a bang as Charlie Batch gets injured on the first series and in comes Stoney Case and the most beutiful career number comes on the screen 1td 10 int's. Now Iam laughing as Stoney Case is garbage and we should be safe. Robert Smith td 7-0 vikes than Chris Carter catches a td pass from Culpepper and the Vikings are up 14-0. (side note that catch was a record catch so they stopped the game and had a ceremony for Chris Carter I know he's 2nd in career receptions to Jerry Rice so not sure what record it was. Problem is over the next 3 years every time Carter was playing MNF or Sunday night or even a regular game they would show highlights of this FCKING catch and that game.

Half time all is well 17-3 Vikings. No scoring in the 3rd so now starts the 4th quater.

The lions get a td and make it 17-10 and the Vikings are doing absolutely nothing they are content to run out the clock but a miracle happens Robert Smith going for the first down which would have ended the game breaks one for 43 yards and scores a td. 24-10 with under 2min to go.

My memory gets a little foggy here but I think the kickoff goes out of bounds and detroit starts off at the 40 than its hail mary time. Aside from Doug Flutie at Boston College when the hell does the hail mary ever work well on 4th down last play of the game under 20 seconds to go Stoney Case somehow eludes John Randle who had him buy the tights throws the ball 50 yards downfield 3 Vikings defenders jump up all collide trying to go for the interception and Larry Foster comes down with the ball TD Lions game over on the last play 24-17 final.

Career 1 FCKING Touchdown it was a big one though.


So I looked at my bro and said its alright will make it back, and if we plan on doing this for the remainder of our lives we can't get too high or too low and we've lived by that motto since that day. I wonder if Larry Foster has that ball I think me and him probably value it equally. The next day I paid off the rotten kids, I could have waited till next thursday but why let it fester inside me.

Another side note that was the same week the Leafs blew a 5-0 lead in the 3rd period and lost in OT. Should have known better placing my largest bet ever a day after that happened.

Great question Serge well that night I had my camera ready to roll tha all hell broke loose. I served for 5 hours straight from 8:30-1:30 in the morning it was insane. The only time I stopped serving was to kick this guy out of the store who was annoying.

I have one regular customer who is a semi-profesional photographer I told him to get out there and get me some skank pictures he said he'll do his best. I'll email him now see if he got anything good.

The highlight of my night was about 2 am I have 3 drunk chicks in the store. this hot lesbian comes to the counter and orders this girl was stunning. Anyways another girl comes to the counter and I hear the first part of the conversation

"no Iam a rainbow"

than as Iam scooping the ice cream I miss the next line, I come back to the surface and hear

The hot Lesbian got pissed off and left the straight girl gave me a smile the type that says "you like that eh"

Weak highlight I know but seeing a hot chick getting shot down ranks high on my list.

no i'm not greek at all, you can actually see me in my profile pic working at Mythos. I guess I can sorta pass for a greek in appearance, but once I told people my name is kevin they were like "oh, so you're not greek" i would say "no, i just look like one."
