Howard Stern did a bit on the streets of New York where he went to people who said they were voting for Obama and then tagged McCain issues to Obama to see if these idiots had a clue."So who are you voting for?""Obama""Is that because he supports the war in Iraq and will do whatever it takes to win the war?""Yea...we need to win that thing""Or is it because he is Pro-Life and against abortion""Yea...that too. You can't be abortin' no babies"

The same has been done of McCain voters too. Many voters are uninformed, it's not a specific trend for either party or candidate. Just a fact of life and elections that's the same in all democracies/republics. Sad but inevitable.

im no really 100% sure who to vote forsomebody convince me....lets get a real debate going here!
Ok... it of course depends on what issues are important to you.Guns: McCain says "Hell yea" Obama: NoTaxes: McCain wants to increase the standard deduction for families with children. Obama wants to raise taxes to pay for programs aimed at helping people with no jobs. Immigration: McCain wants to to increase patrols on the border to stop or slow down illegals. Obama wants the current illegals to become citizens...but they have to go to the back of the line.Affirmative Action: McCain against it. Hire the most qualified person for the job Obama wants to businesses to hire ex-cons and minorities and will fund a program with government money to train them.In a nut shell...if you work and earn a good living you will have to pay more taxes to support those who don't work if Obama is elected.

That post was so ridiculously biased, I hope no one takes it seriously. Don't look for political information on this forum, all you will get is propaganda and extreme opinions. Next election, try reading the newspaper, watching the debates, and making your own goddamn opinions. Whatever you do, make an informed decision. There is still time to read the policies on a neutral website. The Washington Post has a comprehensive, concise issue statement for each candidate, I recommend you read that and compare it to your personal beliefs:ObamaMcCain

It was accurate. That information was taken directly from an unbiased site. I am biased to McCain but all that I said in that post was 100% accurate.Well...coming from the media I think you only get 85% accuracy.

Sure it may have been 'accurate' in a sense, but you were selective in what you said and misrepresented Obama's policies in doing so. You made it sound like McCain wants to stop illegal immigration but Obama doesn't care about it, that is misleading. You said Obama says "no" to guns, as though he doesn't agree that the Constitution gives citizens a right to bear arms, that is misleading. You said Obama "wants to raise taxes" but you didn't specify that those taxes would not apply to 95% of the population, that is extremely misleading.Your summary basically said if that anyone that works hard will have to support the unemployed if Obama wins, that is clearly a biased and inaccurate statement that does not represent a fair overview of the issues.

You said Obama says "no" to guns, as though he doesn't agree that the Constitution gives citizens a right to bear arms, that is misleading. From Obamas site: "Obama supports a BAN on concealed weapons"From Obamas site: "Obama supports granting citizenship to illegal aliens." Obama has an aunt that is an ILLEGAL CITIZEN and when asked about it, he said "I haven't been able to get in touch with her."From Obamas site: "Obama will raise taxes on capitol gains and give tax breaks to low income families"I'm only stating facts.

Um, you basically just ignored what I said and reiterated what you said before, without addressing the fact that it was misleading and selective. I get it, you support McCain and are biased in that respect. Don't kid yourself that you're just stating policies in a neutral manner.
