You know you have a lot of jacked up people when Tawny Kitaen seems like the most normal person there.
Rodney King throwing up outside the truck window might have been the funniest thing I have ever seen.
I'm not sure why Gary Busey is there as a spiritual advisor or whatever. Even though he is sober, he is the craziest person there. Obviously they brought him in for ratings, but if they are seriously trying to help the patients he is just going to be an annoyance.
Jeff Conway and the Guns and Roses drummer are going to provide some awesome moments. The previews for the rest of the season show Jeff kicking his wife in the stomach.
I'm excited for the rest of the season!!!!

Life is like a game of cards. The hand that is dealt you is determinism; the way you play it is free will.

They had a reunion show where they talked to everyone months after the show was filmed. I think the only ones who stayed sober were the chick from Family Matters, and the huge blond woman who was married to Sylvestor Stallone.

this chick has a hot little porn where she takes all of Lexington Steele. No small feat considering how small she is. I think he hit her epiglottis from the rear entry
I watched the whole first season but I don't know that I can invest the time into season 2

Meh I'd rather see a Urkel/Laura/Myra 3-some. Myra was Urkel's girlfriend with the humongous jugs.

I had to google this, and much to my surprise it was in the mouth/throat region and not the vaginal area.

I'm sure this was merely a "suggestion."

The message board was allegedly a The Adam Carrolla Show Message board, but pretty much everyone but me had been listening to Adam since love line, which had apparently been an incredibly influential show for most of them in their formative years, and to whom Dr Drew as a combination of father and messiah figure. So, there was a thread about how Tom Cruise got pissed because Drew had made some sort of crack pot half hassed psycho-analysis of Cruise, and everyone of course was jumping on cruise, and what a nut jub he was. I suggested, that while a nut job, that Drew had no business, as a mental health professional, making half assed diagnosis's and assumptions about cruise's mental health and child hood development, since he had, you know, spent exactly no time with Cruise or talking to Cruise. I also added that it shouldn't be suprising that Drew would make this kind of irresponsible half assed diagnosis based on very little, since that's pretty much what he'd built his career on. This caused pretty much the whole forum to attack me. I tried to stay calm and level headed, nad not attack people who were flaming me, but present my Drew is a quack argument in rationally. And I got flamed, called all kinds of names, and one particular cunt was particularly cunty towards me, and so, finally, I was forced to call her the cunt that she was, because I mean, there's only so much abuse I can handle before I'll unload. This of course got me banned. Even though, naturally, all kinds of other people got call me all kinds of equivalent names, and much worse, and had engaged in all manner of "trollish flaming" . I got banned because I was the new guy who hated Dr Drew.

oh sure, I'm not really even talking about the show, just what a hack I think Drew is. What makes for an entertaining show is often diametrically opposed to what a responsible mental health professional would do. Fortunately, Drew is not responsible.
Drew is a real Dr, with real credentials. He just has no problem exploiting the mentally ill to make himself rich and famous. I see him as a mental health televangelist.

Not to bring down this thread but you do know Myra died from cancer right? She passed away shortly after the show was stopped.

he talked to kids with a minimum of judgment and gave them the truth about the behavior's they were doing
as for evaluating cruise - he's a public figure and fair game - drew wasn't treating him
plus and i know this will sound weird if you didn't listen to the show regularly - dude could tell about 90% of the time whether girls had been abused from just listening to their voices - it was pretty amazing
I think that he's trying to do something good with the rehab show, but i understand if you think differently
also he was a fervant advocate for the morning after pill which people don't seem to understand and seem to think is an abortion pill which it isn't
i really think the loveline show was really valuable for kids

Yes, Drew was the good cop in the scenerio. Yet, it wasn't just a Dr. Drew call in show, where people could call in and get judgment free advice. Here's what would happen, a caller would call, bare their soul, Carrolla would mock them and make fun of them and their issue, and then Drew would give his analysis. Carrolla's abuse was the price people had to pay to get Drew. And while that may make for compelling radio, subjecting the mentally ill to ridicule is not something I feel a responsible mental health should do. And that's what I think he's doing with celebrity rehab. He can claim all the good intentions he wants, but when you bring in Busey as a "spiritual advisor" all you're doing is making train wreck TV. I'm not saying that he doesnt' have some good intentions. Some Televangelists no doubt believe in the bullsht that they sell on tv. But it doesn't stop Rev. Billy bob from taking cash from aunt Sadie, and it doesn't stop Drew from using C-list celebrities illness to humiliate them on television, in order make himself wealthy. That's my issue with him, is that he's exploitative.

I didn't know this, so I did some research. She appeared on Oprah to discuss her "Biggest Mistake", where she discussed her 2 year porn career. She then went on to explain that she wished she had stayed in school while she was acting on Family Matters, because then she would have had some options once she got written off the show, and could have become an acting coach, or a doctor.
Yeah. I'm going to go ahead and guess neither was a realistic ambition.

i'm not so sure about this show - although drug addiction has always been his specialty
as for corrolla mocking the kids - i think that it was pretty gentle and fun loving and corrolla also mocked himself and it made the kids comfortable enough to talk about their issues _ i think the radio show was a big positive
