CBass1724 1
By far this is my favorite series of movies because every one has been so good so far. Hopefully #5 is not a disappointment but I don't see how it can be.

BigDMcGee 3,367
I'm going to be there opening night, you can count on that. A friend of mine from the Horror.com forums, who's a review and got to see an advanced screening, said it was the best saw since Saw 2 ( the best, IMO). I can't wait. That one was my least favorite -- but they have all been good IMO.Going to see the 12:30pm showing with my boss who gave me a half day if I'd go with him. We are friends outside of work anyway so it's not weird like that. Leaving in 15 mins!!

BigDMcGee 3,367
No way Saw 2 is the worst.. it was so hard care.. the way that first guy got killed was so brutal. Ya'll smokin' sherm.

Governator 54
Saw 2 was by far the grossest... I actually felt nautious by the end of it. The head trap scene was just plain sick.. or the chick with the hands in the glass box... or the when she falls in the pit of needles.... sick sick minds. Yet I own all 4 dvds. Ya'll smokin' sherm. That is true, it was brutal...if you are more into that than the plot..than that's cool, but I didn't think the story was as good as others. I don't think it was a bad movie, just not as good as the others.Alright, now I am going to talk about Saw V now that I have seen it. I will try not to spoil anything, but if you don't want to take any chances at all, don't read any further..Very underwhelming. Some sick scenes, but the story just seemed too straightforward for me. I am very disappointed in this film, I think it was by far the worst one. I was expecting to see the doctor from the first movie, who is unaccounted for I believe, but still no word on what happened to him and just not that much of interest, other than the cool traps. Overall, a decent movie on its own.....but just not good at all in terms of living up to what I expect from the series. I'll see Saw VI next year, but I think this might be the beginning of the end for the Saw movie series.
BigDMcGee 3,367
I saw this tonight as well, I disagree with koop's assessment entirely... (There are spoiler tags for a reason, Koop. There are there, on the left side of your screen, as you make a post. People have to scroll past what you write, you know, the thread just doesn't end on the first part of your post. ) Actually, I didn't see Saw V tonight, and I've only seen the first one. I have no idea how the first guy dies in saw two, nor how brutal the movie is. I'd rather set my money on fire then spend it to see saw 5. I am now going to ramble incoheriently on for a while to make this spoiler seem alot longer than it actually is. himimnahma aiemnfaijhfem afhfeamfh hnamofjam hjfjfkd hemfamimfe hehfmooure m hot cock mmmmahmfahfme amomamoemaofmoefamofmef fjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjjfjfjfjffjjffjjfjfjfjfjffjfjfjfjfjjffjfjfjfjjffjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjf mudslide fjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjjffjjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjjfjfjffjjfjfjfjfjfjff fhfhfhfhfh fhfh fhf hfhfhf hfhff hfheffhefhehfhefhehh hroyals suck hehmma rmeomoe maomrehrmahar hemarhen arehe
Swift_Psycho 1
I saw it this afternoon. Since showing events in chronological order isn't a big concern for these movies, I kept waiting for them to re-show the scene that started and ended Saw IV so that we would know when that took place relative to the events of the movie. The assumption we should make is obviously that this entire movie is this "test" for Hoffman that Jigsaw told him about on that tape from the his stomach, but I just didn't get the sense that he really was all that tested during this movie. What was this "test" exactly? Was it just learning to play the game properly and not just kill people, even though Hoffman was never a cold-blooded killer to begin with? That seems kind of stupid. Part of me thinks that maybe the events of Saw V still happened before he listens to that tape from Jigsaw's stomach and that Saw VI will uncover the real test for Hoffman. Did anyone who saw the movie understand something that I just missed?
KowboyKoop 0
I never knew about the spoilers. Sue me.Yup....Saw VI definitely needs to start tying things together a bit more.....there was just no twist in this movie. Hoffman did it, we see that he worked with Jigsaw all along, Strahm knows, Hoffman frames Strahm. The end. Pretty lame. The trap scenes delivered as always..but I want more than that.Royals rule. We're rising to the top. YOU'LL SEE!@ I saw it this afternoon. I'll see Saw VI next year, but I think this might be the beginning of the end for the Saw movie series. I would be surprised if the doctor ends up making another appearance. Given how ghostly white he was after cutting off his foot, I think we are just supposed to assume he died trying to get out. I agree though that it's annoying they never went back to him or showed his body or anything though. Also agree that it was too straightforward a movie by Saw standards, but still a good movie if I didn't have the higher expectations the previous movies have given me. Even the final test/trap which is typically supposed to be this 'AHA' moment in the series wasn't hard to figure out. Once Strahm started punching and forcing Hoffman into the box, I was thinking "Get in the damn box you idiot, it's going to protect you" from what I thought was going to be those nail bomb things, but I guess crushing Strahm to death was more epic. It's nice to know that at least one other person didn't "get it" regarding Hoffman's "test" and that it just flew over my head. Don't quote things that need spoilers and fail to put them in spoilers, then put your own comment in spoilers.. Pick a side, either spoil the movie or don't, just don't half ass it.
