I'm probably going to play back at the min-raise PF and reraise. If we see a flop, I don't know what to do with this one in particular. I'd prob shove the turn if the flop checked around.

Not a fan of reraising preflop at all. Villain's range should be extremely strong preflop, possibly QQ+/AK. On the river, I think it's a clear fold because even if you widen his range some, there's literally no possible hand that you beat, as I'd expect him to just check AQ/AK (he'd probably bet flop with AQ anyways) because they have minor showdown value.

What hand with a J min-3-bets PF tho?And I don't think AA KK QQ min-reraises either. MAYBE AA, but we beat that.

Until a min-3bettor proves otherwise, I assume that they have TT+/AK. Therefore, I think a re-raise pre-flop is pretty spewy.Also...you want to shove $9.50 into a $2.55 pot on the turn? I don't like that at all.I think the river's probably a fold. It looks like Button has JJ, but somewhat unobviously, I think you might also be oversetted by QQ/TT/KK.Assuming villain's river range is:TT+,AKs,AJs,KQs = foldAssuming villain's river range is:TT+,AKs,AJs,KQs,AKo = call

What makes this hand problematic is finding the answer to the question, "What possible hand could the villain have that he did NOT misplay?"

Oh, certainly the min-re-raise pre-flop is generally endemic of someone who misplays hands. If he has a set, he played it awful. If he has AK/AQ or AA, the river bet's bad. If he has JJ or AJ for some reason, I think his line is semi reasonable after the pre-flop misplay.

People most often misplay JJ or TT by making a ridiculous re-raise PF because they "don't want to see a flop." The minraise PF ALMOST makes me think AA KK, hoping for a repop, so they could shove. But our the button instead got double-flatted, the board got ridiculous and none of the players involved knows what to do with it. I know that we can't call the river bet profitably. I think we can bet the turn hard profitably, which I think was my main point.
