Busted means you took fill out of the game or took all the money he had at the table. And since this was a limit game and phil usually sits with around 5K because he's a hard ass. I don't think you really "busted" him. If you want to prove that you are a good player then we'll all see how you fair in the negreanu open on Tuesday. Until then, your claims of poker stardom are falling upon deaf ears.

Looking beyond the fact that you know nothing about sentence structure (or poker for that matter), your stories are somewhat entertaining at first. Then I realize that you probably took 3 days to think of this story and I begin to feel sorry for you.

Whether it's true or not, this type of play has been discouraging me lately from online poker. I'm really enjoying the weekly $20 buy in home game I have, although I'm not sure if I'm improving my game by playing the same loose, fairly poor players time after time....but I digress.By the way, that story reminds me of the time I was playing Texas Dolly heads up and I went all in with A :) A :D and he called me with good old 10 2 offsuit and flopped 10 10 2...turn and river were blanks and he took all my money. Needless to say, I was upset, so as I got up from the table, I grabbed his crutch and beat him over the head with it....ahh, good times. I'm All In.

Im going to sincerely doubt that was really phil hellmuth. For one main reason....Why would Phil Hellmuth be playing at a .50/1 table, and unless he showed up with $4, you didnt bust him, you just played like a complete idiot and got lucky.

REPRESENT!! Negreanu Open, fool. woop woop!!Anyway, ben, the turn can't "flop" and you can't bluff. And XXEddie, it really is Phl Hellmuth. Annie Duke and some others play on there, too. I think Phil is the only one who wasts his time at the $.50/1 levels, though. You need to get your feet wet before you start argueing.

I have actually seen Phil play at those limits before, he does it every once in a while either for amusement or to give folks a chance to play with him who wouldn't normally get to. Howard Lederer and others do the same on Full Tilt. The last time I saw him playing at that limit, he was playing with only about $25. Someone from the observer lot started giving him crap about not really being Phil and how he was a poser and all that.Phil didn't respond to him. So the guy kept talking and kept talking, annoying all the other players at the table and some of the other observers.Still, Phil didn't say anything. When the guy continued, the money in front of Phil's name suddenly went from $25 to $25,025. That ended the conversation. I thought it was a pretty good way to handle it on his part.

going from 25 to 25025 is probably the most subtle (if 25000 is subtle) and yet funniest things ihave ever heard. I give phil props for that move, so fits his personna.
