I think the correct nickname for James Neal is Nealer.

That worked out pretty good..Its interesting cheering for a team you dont like..YOu appreciate them more..I was hoping for Crosby even..But he wasnt much of a factor this game..The Flower was a beast...Good game.

I have a theory..we get 10 of us on here..We pick 5 hockey games...We take a consensus, then bet the OPPOSITE....I think its a sure fire way of making money.

BTW here is an example of misconceptions and how the public is usually wrong.A betting angle that a lot of gamblers like to play is the new coach theory. The theory is the first game with a new coach the team is all of a sudden supposed to play inspired hockey and show some jump. The theory should work even more when teams like Washington,Anaheim and Carolina are losing because a lot of their star players have stopped performing up to their previous successes.Well the new coach theory this week was 0-3...My buddy lost a boatload..There are a lot of smart hockey minds on this board, however the reality is NONE of us can beat the lines consistently. Its nearly impossible betting winners by handicapping angles, trends, goalies, recent play etc.The bottom line is the linemakers are professionals, the only way to win is by going against the the herd(the general public)..This is loosely based on contrarian theory but i think it can be more simple than that. The other night a lot of people were on the Caps vs the Pens. Theory being the Caps are at home, new system, against their arch rival, they will come out and score a bunch and beat the Pens..Well they lost...Should of lost by more ...

I don't think professional linemakers could beat other linemakers on a consistent basis...those guys are just crazy good at what they do.
