simo_8ball 1
First one, given that button could be tilting I think it's generally fine.Second one just fold preflop. Hands like 85s are incredibly difficult to play profitably for 100bb, and unless you are very good postflop it will only really add to your variance. Your flop raise is a little small for my liking. Pot would be to $34, which is a bit on the large side, but I'd say about $28-$30 would be good. You should call the shove, but you don't have to like doing it. It's $73.5 into $126, so you need ~37% equity. You should have slightly more equity than that.

Hand one is really complicated. A smart villain will see you are trying to isolate a bluffer, so his range could be fairly wide. He could be "re-isolating" with worse -- 99 TT AQ AK AJ shows up here a lot in MP's hand IMHO. Hand two we played face up. We just need to count our outs vs an overpair and see how the hand works mathematically.

We just need to count our outs vs an overpair and see how the hand works mathematically. While I agree with your comment on the decision we have to make, I think my range is pretty wide given the size of my raise. I'd make this with top 2, a set, a straight, combo draw, and probably two big spade overs.

NoSup4U 0
Hand 1: If you're confident he'll stack off pf here with a wide range less than JJ, then your raise is good. I doubt that though, and I think you'll get called by a pretty wide range pf from a guy steaming, which is going to make the hand difficult to play OOP post flop. I would call or fold personally. Call here and see how things go post flop.Hand 2: You flopped the nuts! If you aren't comfortable calling off your money here then you shouldn't play the 85s like Simo said. Villain probably has some silly overpair he can't fold (which means you should just call on the flop and not raise) so you're 50/50 and getting easily better than that in pot odds.Mark

DonkSlayer 1
Results ::SPOILER ALERT::1. MP folded and Button called, and his A7 did not improve.2. Villain was snapcalling with a set of 4's and the turn/river went 8 8. Ew.
PrtyPSux 0
Hand 1, edit missread 1st one....I still just 4 bet call MP.Hand 2 just shove to the $8 bet...shove in the same spot when you have JJ-KK too, to balance your shove range, this way he's making a mistake every time he calls with As8s or 99 and you're never making a mistake by shoving. If you make a small raise like you did I think a lot of people are 3bet shoving bigger FD's which really sucks for us..
