ajs510 122
I'm getting pretty spread out, need a central place to track my action for this year. With Rmunro:I bet $50 that Steven Stamkos will win the Calder, Rich takes the field. Stamkos has to play 70 NHL games for this bet to qualify. With MapleLeafs:Jay bets $10 that John Tavares will win the OHL scoring title, I get the field. (Lost)With Serge:I bet $25 that my team will finish higher in the FCP Yahoo League standings than his. (Win)Serge says Sidney Crosby will NOT finish in the top two in reg season overall pts $50Serge thinks Toronto will finish in the top half of the league in GAA. I disagree. $50With Digitalmonkey:I bet $20 that Mikhail Grabovsky will not be outscored by Sergei Kostitsyn by 10 points or more. With Ottawa Biatch:I bet $50 that the asdfjkl; will miss the FCHL playoffs this year, Dan bets they will make it. I get 3-1 on the win for a total of $150. (Lost, payment arrangements made on FCHL board)With Nell789:Adam and Darnelle bet $25 that their team will finish higher than the other. (Lost, owe $15 to be sent with next year's FCHL registration fee, after washing out the 1/20 bet)FCHL Points only, tie voids the bet.$10 is owed to Adam from a 1/20 FCHL game bet. With Strategy:Jeff bets that Christian Backman will score more than 34.5 points this NHL season, with a 65GP minimum. Adam takes the under.**Jeff paid $20 on 11/20 via Stars**Paid back Jeff's $20 on 3/16/09, bet is a push.

WestcoastCanuck 0
Why, is he going back to Sarnia? No, just my original logic for why the field would always be a good bet is the entire field can't get injured. I'll still win.

I'll still win.I like your side a lot better with Berglund looking like he'll take the top line job in St. Louis, but I wasn't going to back away from a bet that I proposed the terms of. ajs510 122
If I've made a bet with you that isn't reflected above, please let me know. That's all I can remember off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure I made a few more wagers.
serge 904
While you are a pretty active prop bettor, you are still amateur status...But you are getting there..
ajs510 122
I'm getting pretty spread out, need a central place to track my action for this year. With Rmunro:I bet $50 that Steven Stamkos will win the Calder, Rich takes the field. Stamkos has to play 70 NHL games for this bet to qualify. (Definite LOSS unless Stamkos somehow misses 9 of the remaining 26 Tampa games)With MapleLeafs:Jay bets $10 that John Tavares will win the OHL scoring title, I get the field. (Definite LOSS unless Tavares breaks his leg)With Serge:I bet $25 that my team will finish higher in the FCP Yahoo League standings than his. (Definite WIN)Serge says Sidney Crosby will NOT finish in the top two in reg season overall pts $50 (Possible WIN)Serge thinks Toronto will finish in the top half of the league in GAA. I disagree. $50 (Definite WIN)($30 owed to Serge from a Buffalo-Tampa Bay bet)With Digitalmonkey:I bet $20 that Mikhail Grabovsky will not be outscored by Sergei Kostitsyn by 10 points or more. (Possible WIN)With Ottawa Biatch:I bet $50 that the asdfjkl; will miss the FCHL playoffs this year, Dan bets they will make it. I get 3-1 on the win for a total of $150. (Probable LOSS)With Nell789:Adam and Darnelle bet $25 that their team will finish higher than the other. (Probable LOSS)FCHL Points only, tie voids the bet.$10 is owed to Adam from a 1/20 FCHL game bet. With Strategy:Jeff bets that Christian Backman will score more than 34.5 points this NHL season, with a 65GP minimum. Adam takes the under.**Jeff paid $20 on 11/20 via Stars** This is looking like a largely break-even year for me at best with prop bets. The only bets that can be considered a lock-win for me is the Toronto GAA bet, they're last in the league by a healthy margin and still backpedaling, and the Yahoo League bet with Serge (I'm in first place and he can't possibly catch up). Crosby may hold on and finish top-two, but if I had to bet on it right now I probably wouldn't.I like my chances to take the Grabovski bet, Sergei Kostitsyn will have to equal or better his year's scoring pace to date *and* have Grabovski not put up anymore points to make up the necessary 15 point spread. For the Stamkos bet, I'm just hoping against hope that he doesn't dress for more than 16 of the remaining 26 Tampa Bay games to disqualify the bet. I realize this is a pipe dream at best, he's been playing better lately but really stands no chance of winning the Calder over more qualified guys like Steve Mason and Kris Versteeg, even Patrik Berglund. That one will almost definitely be a $50 shippage to Rich. Not much chance of Biatch missing the FCHL playoffs, in retrospect I should have made it a 2-1 bet that he wouldn't be a top-six team. Ship $50 out.Tavares is basically going to have to break his leg to not be the OHL scoring champ.
