Nothing you could do. Hard to imagine that you were ahead at any point in this hand with all that action.
The path

all sides by the inequities of the
selfish and the tyranny of evil
men. Blessed is he who, in the
name of charity and good will,
shepherds the weak through the

his brother's keeper and the finder
of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those
who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

And you folded at the right time.. it sucks to fold over pair on the flop, but with capped flop, and UTG coming out of nowwhere, and if he is passive, as you say, he's gotta have a hand.. I assume you posted this for some praise on your good fold, well, then, good fold, buddy!

Actually it wouldn't surprise me if you were up against some hands like QQ JJ AK and AQ. BB probably had an 8 and decided it was good on the flop. You very easily might've had the best hand but folding on this flop instead of paying off capped streets to the end to hope they all hand hands like this isn't a bad idea.

Of the pre flop raises, with the "passive" play coming out of nowhere, and three betting, it's an easy fold.. if not for that guy, you couldn't have gotten me out of the pot with a stick, but his raise you must respect, 'cause he doesn't make them often

Results:SB has Q:diamond: Q:heart: (two pair, queens and sevens). BB has A:spade: A:diamond: (two pair, aces and sevens). UTG has 7:heart: A:heart: (three of a kind, sevens). Outcome: UTG wins 23 BB.So you have 3 TAGs each with one of the 3 best starting hands and a fish calling 3 more PF with A7s only to flop trips. Sometimes there is no justice in this world.
