RonBurgundy 0
and its a load of BS that ciggarettes are harder to quite than heroin, havent heard of to many people sucking dick for nicotinethat would be a relevant argument if the question was are they more addictive. i imagine what people mean when they say its harder to quit cigarettes than heroin is that there aren't 20some brands of heroin in every gas station at 3 bucks a pop, and you dont really see many people shooting up in the streets. cigarettes, on the other hand, are everywhere. and every person smoking is a reminder, and every store you pass is an opportunity to relapse. hank213 1,824
The main problem I have the whole push to make it illegal to use cigarettes anywhere is the hypocrisy. If the majority of the society wants to do away with cigarettes, fine. Why not attack the problem at the source: the tobacco producers. No, the gov't won't do that, too much money coming from the lobby and from the ever increasing sin taxes imposed on smokes. Instead we're going to have a product that is legal to produce, legal to sell, legal to buy, but not legal to use. Well just remember all you non-smokers, me and my wheezing, coughing, hacking-up-a-lung-cookie-the-size-of-a-small-dog-in-the-morning friends and I are putting a lot of dough towards paving our roads and keeping the doors open on our kids' schools. Do you think poor Chrozzo should have to suffer because you would rather sit a your barstool and smoke than go outside for 5 minutes to smoke?

Do you think poor Chrozzo should have to suffer because you would rather sit a your barstool and smoke than go outside for 5 minutes to smoke? What about the people that get wasted at the bar and drive home? They pose a risk to people on the road just as much as someone who is smoking in the bar.The fact is, yes, there are places where smoking should not be allowed. A bar is not one of those places. Most places built covered enclosures for smokers.

Look, if you're bringing kids to a bar, smoking is rather low on the problem list.Because second hand smoke is a proven killerThey already have banned smoking outdoors within 10 feet of any entrance of public buildings. Most places built covered enclosures for smokers.I think they made it 12 here. Not 1 enclosure, unless you count bus stop shelters that were already there. As far as the health angle I refer to my previous post. If they're so bad for society in general then make 'em illegal. Open non-smoking bars if there's such a market for them. All kinds of remedies exist, but the way things are being done is creating second class citizens because they choose to use a legally obtainable product.

You can legally by dildos too but you cant use them in public.

qyayqi 12
I love to smoke. I smoke seven thousand packs a day, ok. And I am never ****ing quitting! I don't care how many laws they make. What's the law now? You can only smoke in your apartment, under a blanket, with all the lights out? Is that the rule now, huh?! The cops are outside, "We know you have the cigarettes. Come out of the house with the cigarettes above your head." "You'll never get me copper! I'm never coming out, you hear? I got a cigarette machine right here in my bedroom. Yeah!"Know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna get one of those tracheotomies. So I can smoke two cigarettes at the same time. I'm gonna get nine tracheotomies all the way around my neck. I'll be Tracheotomie Man! "He can smoke a pack at a time! He's Tracheotomie Man!"I'm looking forward to cancer, man. I want that throat cancer. That's the best kind. You know why? You get that throat cancer, you get that voice box thing. Know what I'm talking about? ..[Talking as if has a voice box].. Sure it's scary, but you can make a lot of money with a voice box. Get a voice box, walking around the streets of Manhattan, "[VB] You got any spare change?" "Ahhh!! Here's my whole wallet, get away from me! Ahh!"Imagine a whole family with voice boxes. That'd be creepy, wouldn't it? They'd be out in that backyard everyday during the summer. "[VB] Dad, can we go to the beach?" "[VB] Yes, get your mother and the dog. We'll leave right now. Sparky, come here." "[VB] Arf Arf Arf Arf Arf Arf Arf" Ahhhh!!Or the ultimate irony. A guy with a voice box pulling up to the drive through window at McDonald's. That has to suck, huh? "Can I help you?" "[VB] Big Mac and a large order of fries." "Stop making fun of me." "[VB] I'm not making fun of you." "I'm getting the manager." "[VB] Get the ****ing manager, I don't care."
