Miss Kitty Cat 0
Hi there,This is my first post and I´m going to start right with my first topic, which I´d like to discuss with you an especially with Mister N. from LV, because it could concern him personally. But first of all, I´d like to introduce myself. I am Miss Kitty Cat from Germany and I adore animals over all. I´ve three guinea pigs and one kitty (there is the cause of my nick, but of cause I´m a wild cat by myself ^^).I love animals over all and would even say animals are the better humans; nevertheless I do not live on vegetarian or even vegan food. What interests me first and foremost would be the motives to feed on vegan food especially the perception of Daniel (and the other vegans here???) would be very interesting. See, I´d like to know what are the backgrounds of a vegan lives and also the reference to modern consumption society (also the critique on modern human society). What concerns me the most is, which influences causes someone to live on vegan, and, going with that step, starting a protest against factory farming and against all cruelty against animals.I like the idea behind a vegan life but indeed there are some cons.1. (and that would be the most frequent critical issue of meat eaters) The human is a omnivore, which means that the human body needs nutrients on herbal and animal basis, to be provided properly.2. Wouldn´t it be better to reduce factory farming and to reduce the exploitation of animals?Founding Organisations and trough this organisations enlighten more people about the grievances to encourage helping to improve the products by boycotting the involved products. A hunger strike of a few would never affect the wished goal (if it is the reason for such a life style).3. What if a vegan is keeping a pet? Lets say a dog (or a cat *smile* ). This pat will be feed on meat and with that on factory farming. In conclusion this means, that the protest is ineffective, because we buy the products should blacklist!4. If a vegan would live on a farm and he would produce his food al by him/herself, would the consumption then be considerable? If not, it means that, the life style isn´t for protest! Now I ask you what´s the right way to act.Live the vegan type of life and try to make the world a little bit better? Or do you think that´s the wrong desicion because it doesn´t help anyone apart from your conscience? Is it healthy or does it make you sick. And what would you do, to make it better for all the afflicted animals all over the world?Greetz Miss Kitty Cat

I know that in your heart you want to forgive me, and I hope that, with time, you will learn to love again. you are a strong soul, and because of this, I know you have the power and will to get past this indiscretion. timwakefield 69
Why?I wasn´t rude to anybody, but nobody was poltie to me?Tell me what I´ve done?Ok color me the only nice person here. They're not making fun of you exactly, they're just not interested in the discussion. I'm pretty sure we've had the vegan/meat-eater debate a few times on here, but you're gonna have a hard time finding people to support you because there are very few people who don't eat meat around here.I got the joke in your title, and I think it is pretty clever for somebody who didn't grow up speaking English.FWIW I am not a vegetarian but I also don't eat very much meat, and I think it's definitely worth having an actual discussion about it.
