antistuff 0
i don't usually do this, but the players name is dprociak on full tilt. if anybody has played with him and remember anything i would love to hear it. his stats seem to be converging to around 32/13/.90 which is really weird. so i laughed at him in the chatbox after this when he complimented me and told me i played the hand well. he said if i knew his though process i would be blown away. naturally he refused to share with me said though process. he has played about 15 hands with me up until now. he hasn't seen me play a single big pot. i've thought long and hard about my range here his call is just horrible. this makes sense if he is the best plo8 player ever and he knows me very very well. it also would be very unusual for a poker player of the caliber capable of this level of thinking to brag about it the way he did. and why the hell would he be playing .50/1 on a friday night at a table that isn't even all that great? i feel like my mind has just snapped. ROBBBIGG 0
i'm confused, isn't the call pretty normal? if i saw someone call the flop i'd put them on ak102, ak103 more often than i would top pair or second pair, and on the turn it looks like you have a broadway wrap + a3, and MAYBE a heart draw, so he called to see a river and got what was roughly the safest river possible for him (other than another jack)i probably wouldn't make the call unless i was one tabling (and in a mood to do crazy stuff), but it doesn't seem genius. wouldn't you raise a3qx on the flop? you'd definitely raise a2q, right? checkymcfold 0
i'm pretty sure that i play both the same way.if you've shown ANY predilection to valuebet when you have a nut hand, or if you've shown me that you play good, solid, logical poker, the first hand is a seemingly tough, but actually very, very easy call. you woke up on a 7, so you either have 77 or nothing. 77 is obviously very, very rare for anyone with a clue in o8 variants. that's a one low flop, so you're def firing a set to keep low draws out and iso a wrap draw or something. and finally, an overpair has significant showdown value, so there's no way you'd fire that one so big.obv air, imo, if you really trust yourself .
