I'm taking the wife and kids up to St Louis for a 3 day weekend at Six Flags. There are NO Cardinals games that weekend. BUT if I leave Memphis one day earlier I can take the boys to see the Cardinals play the Red Sox.My son bugs the crap outta me to see sporting events. Last year I took him to Nashville to see Nascar Imax 3D. Then the next day we went to Atlanta and went to Six Flags. Then the next day it was a NASCAR race. Then the next day it was our first NHL game, then to cap it off we went to a NBA game.A lil advice for you all with GF's, a wife, or children : Don't overdue it. Then it'll be expected to do that or more in the future. So do we go see the Red Sox?

You must see the Sox-Cardinals. I saw them at Fenway the other year and it was a great time. I was astounded by how many Cardinals fans came up for the game. There were at least 8,000...maybe more...at the game. It was a real testiment to the quality of St. Louis fans. We were sitting next to a family that made the drive up and we had a great time talking baseball and discussing the players. There was a lot of respect gong each way. The Sox lost in extra innings, but it was one of the best games I've ever seen live. You really can't pass up the opportunity to see two of the greatest baseball franchises from different leagues meeting at their peaks...especially with the World Series rematch subplot going on.
