Starting October 10/2008. We Know Daniel will be playing in it, is there any other FCP members planning on playing? if so please post here. There are Satellites running daily you can call at 1-866-5-POKER-5.
The other thought was Why not have a FCP party and get together, so if anyone is interested in getting together for a long weekend of poker and fun this would be a great place and time to do it. Niagara is beautiful in the fall, We can rail our fcp friends, we can play poker as a group, have dinner and drinks and have a great time. So if any one is interested again post here or Pm me or Troyo. It's our thanksgiving weekend as well but we don't mine sharing with our southern neighbours, in fact I would love to meet some of you and take your money in poker especially you Chicago guys lol

I love the game of poker for the competition, the psychology, the never-ending quest to improve, the advanced and sometimes minute complexities not everyone sees when they play, and the enjoyment of succeeding after giving all your energy to reach a goal that may at first seem unattainable but that you find a way to make it possible.

Unfortunately, its just too tough to take a whole weekend off at this time of year (since we have a bunch of pool tourneys coming) and i find Niagra very expensive and i just can't justify it. (The last time we were there, we went to a Denny's for breakfast the $1.99 grand slam breakfast was $15 on their menu.)

Rivergirl you can crash with me if you like to save a buck, and breakfast is cheaper at the casino, in fact I will get it on my comps

thanks rose, that's really sweet of you to offer. It's actually more the time off work that's the issue really. I'm "required" to work 3 saturdays a month, but with pool tourneys i take off 3 weekends in november, so i try not to take off any in sept and october to justify it. I will try to see what i can do.
I'll look around for a decent room rate (i would be with hubby) and maybe we'll come up

Also, realizing now that it's Thanksgiving weekend, I would likely have to be home for the Sunday if I'm doing some family dinner type thing. I probably won't know until closer to the date though what my plans are in that regard.

Everyone knows that the word Monday derived from the earliest settlers. The word "day" which means day, and the word "mon" which is native for "thankfulness".
