how do i play this probable best hand?

Easy call. its only half the pot. So you're getting 2:1 odds. By betting out then checking the turn you make it look like you were just following your raise and its seemingly a great opportunity for that guy to bluff a big pot.

As others have stated you shouldn't have checked turn.However, looking at betting history, AK is mostly likely out (he didn't raise) and for that reason possibly AT. He'd have to be extremely loose to call $21 on 78, 9T, or any 2 pair besides A9 or possibly A6. I would also imagine he'd have raised with TT and possibly 99.It's pretty likely you're winning. The only hands that I would expect you to be losing to here are A9, A6, or 66, possibly AT. If he has some other hand that beats you (AK, TT ..) it's very likely he'd have raised preflop or possibly even on the flop. I would call and expect to see something like 88, TJ, or some trash like A4.But again, you almost folded on the turn by checking and letting someone take the initiative on the river.
