I've got a 2 hour flight to Georgia on Tuesday so I want to pick up a book (on poker) to read for the flight. I've already read Winning Low Limit by Lee Jones, I have Tournament Poker for Advanced Players by Sklansky (way over my head right now). So I'm thinking about Positively 5th Street or something dealing with actually playing poker possibly centering on NL or tournaments or both (But strictly about Hold'Em). So what would you all suggest. Bear in mind that I've only been playing for a few months online so some books that get way to into detail (Sklansky for instance) while good might be a little hard for me to grasp. But I am not really a complete beginner either. In that 3 months I've averaged at least 2 hours a day and I've won my fair share of SnG's granted they were only $10-20. Thanks for the suggestionsDuff
Okay Here's The Deal

I have read a number of books by a number of authors. Based on the info you provided, Phil Gordon's new book "Poker: The Real Deal" may be something you are looking for. It's good read. He touches on the basics and goes into more detail on some important issues. He touches on things like pot odds without getting too technical. Discusses it in a way that's easy to understand. It's a good book to start with and then move to Sklansky.

Posatively 5th street is a great read.Pretty meaningless on actual poker content, though.Small Stakes Holdem is a must read, but it's not a begginers book. If you had trouble with HFAP you should probably wait.
