basketball playoffs are onand baseballnothing else really
spoken like someone who has never been to NYC. OP, what kind of music are you into, there are tons of clubs in NYC. Be sure to pick up the Villege Voice. Its free on the streets, you'll find tons of info in there alone. It gives gallery openings, music dates, movie reviews, etc. Central Park at this time of the year is beautiful. If you pick up a Zagat's you'll find tons of great places to eat, but one place that I love to go to is Bagel Buffet in the village. Its not that hard to find, I'm sorry, but I don't really remember what street its on as I just usually go by the terrain.

I went to CBGBs last summer that was cool.Ate in some nice places - vegetarian paradise is cool evne though i'm not vegetarian. My mate wants to check out some original pizza shop or something that is meant to be good. Forgotten the name...UmmmmAC - where is it? I always saw loads of ppl in port authority there last summer. I think i'm gonna have one / two where i could play poker. So i was thinking maybe it'd be best to stop in new york. i've found some clubs.Ahhh i love America. hah

if you want to play poker, Foxwoods is actually closer than AC. I live in cnetral jersey and AC is around an hour and a half from me with traffic. YOu can get shuttles to AC and Foxwoods. AC is down the shore in Jersey, while foxwoods is in conn. If you want to spend some $$$ on some real good italian food go to D'umberto's. Katz's deli is real good to, but extremely expensive

Atlantic City is in New Jersey, just basically in between New York/BostonBetween the Borgata & the Trump Taj Majal, you'll find some good poker. But KDawg's right, Foxwoods would be a good stop too.

No he's right, if you start in NY and go south around the world to Boston it's right between the two.

if you go to boston, be sure to check out the following:fanueil hall/quincy marketnewbury/boylston st.fenway parkhanover st/north end/mike's pastryboston commonthe great thing about boston is that you can walk from one side of the city to the other without too much trouble. there is a great subway system too, but you can walk between all of the above places.even if the red sox aren't in town when you are there, go on the tour of fenway park it is supposed to be amazing.fenway park is truly the holy mecca of american baseball. yankee stadium is a ****ing dump covered in piss. but hey, on top of the shit heap there's a bronze bust of Babe Ruth.and yea like kdawg said, grab a village voice when you get to the city and you'll find tons of stuff to do.it's hard to not entertain yourself in new york, it really is the greatest place on earth. especially if you like to eat.
