akishore 0 Posted May 11, 2005 Share Posted May 11, 2005 $1/2 limit at noble poker(sorry, no hand histories so it's from memory)pre-flop: akishore is button with 8-85 limps, akishore raises, big blind and all limpers call.pushing my equity (and implied equity) here... this is ok, right?flop: 8-5-5 (7 players, 14 SB)3 checks, MPx bets, 1 call, 2 folds.was it correct to slowplay here? three people to act behind me, almost a deadlock board...turn: 5 (5 players, 9 BB)1 check, MPx bets, 1 fold, MPx calls, 1 fold.whoops! should i believe him and check-call down? am i too aggressive?river: 2 (3 players, 15 BB)MPx bets, ...the stop-and-go... should i believe him again and just call? am i costing myself two more bets here?is the hand fine up to there?let me know if it's too hard to read, i'll try to make it look better.aseem Link to post Share on other sites

Actually I'd keep raising even on the turn, but I get way too aggressive sometimes I think. That's what I'd put the guy on, you can't really go around being scared of the quads.
