Wingman008 0
I don't know what I was doing in this hand. I am very confused. The villian sucks though. That's my read. But I am confused. jmbreslin 0
If you're going to CB that flop you have to make sure you're raising enough PF that your hand is disguised. Otherwise it will be obvious that the flop missed you (ie, if you only raise strong A2 hands).I probably pull back on the turn. He's not going anywhere after calling your CB on the flop and your hand is weak at that point. If your read is right and villain does suck, he could easily be playing several combinations of hands that have you beat here. Also, the decreasing bets on the turn and river just look horribly weak. antistuff 0
bet the pot on the turn and give up after that. do not ever make small bets like .50 into a $8 pot unless it is part of some overall strategy.
Biff Goods 0
i don't think I am c-betting this flop very often against a fish. Your low draw is done and if he calls you are drawing to the high half only if you are not already drawing dead. In hold'em it's a different story but I can't see a c-bet here to be profitable long term against someone who likes to call a raise pf in O8 with two people left to act one of which who limped in UTG. antistuff 0
c bet every single paired flop heads up that isn't like 223 or aa5very, very few players are smart or dumb enough to call without trips
MovingIn 0
If we're only raising strong low hands, I'd c/f the flop, since a raise telegraphs that we missed that flop, and a c-bet without any sort of draw is spew. If villain is loose, or dumb as the OP suggests, we're not folding him with a c-bet (which is probably our only real shot at winning this pot). Maybe villain misses that flop too, but we still have to make something once the river hits, and we are drawing to almost nothing here.
